On Friday, March 29, 2019, TKK ORA et LABORA Pamulang held a “Mini Trip to the Museum of Transportation” which took place at the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah or abbreviated as TMII. At 7 o’clock sharp, the children have gathered at school and are ready to leave. For this trip we used 1 large bus, 1 Elf car and 1 Panther car. Even so, it does not reduce the joy of children. The journey to the location is quite smooth.
Arriving there, the children split according to their classes. Exploring many objects displayed there. The inside of the museum is divided into several modules, namely the central module (containing traditional transportations in the past), land module (bus, motorcycle etc.), marine module (boats, ferries etc.) and air module (aircraft, helicopters). The objects inside are original, imitation, miniature, photographs and in the form of dioramas. There are even vehicles that were used by the 1st President of the Republic of Indonesia.
After being satisfied to observe the various types of transportation displayed, we headed to the train station and took a ride on the locomotive train with two wooden carriages which had been operating since 1909. Children were very happy to ride the train while singing the song “Naik Kereta”. Then, we headed to the location of the aircraft, but unfortunately we could not get inside because the officers were on the break time. But we could take pictures together then had lunch together there. After lunch we prepared to go home. What an amazing experience for the children. (TK-PML)
