“ Ibu kita Kartini, putri sejati, putri Indonesia, harum namanya…”

If we listen to a part of Ibu Kita Kartini song which was composed by W.R. Supratman, we will absolutely remember a woman named R.A. Kartini. She is one of female heroes in Indonesia who fights for equal rights and dignity between men and women long time ago. R.A. Kartini was born in Jepara on 21st of April 1879. Thus, her born date becomes our National Holiday to honor her patriotism.

All men used batik shirt and all women used kebaya modern. The celebration was first opened with a flag ceremony. Almost all officers who were involved in the flag ceremony were women.
